Recently, Carolyn from The Pleasantest Thing blog asked me to guest post for her as she was preparing for the arrival of a new baby.  Our blogs have a lot in common and I had the perfect idea to share with her and you!

My 3 year old son, Onetime, loves imaginative play!  When he was a toddler, it started off with pretending that the large black rectangular ottomon in our living room was a train and we would take endless rides together, “Choo-chooooo!”

10 Ways to Enrich Imaginative PlayIn this post I share 10 ways that you can help extend and enrich your child’s thinking through imaginative PLAY!   I learned many of these strategies when I took special Teaching qualifications in Drama – but they work very nicely for playing with kids too!

I hope you’ll visit The Pleasantest Thing to read my 10 strategies and that your child will benefit from a richer play experience!  Click on the blog name above to read my entire post.
